Titchwitch
I have a 2003 TD4 Freelander, The rear wheels are driving but the front wheels do not appear be doing anything so effectively I am left with just two wheel drive. I know the Freelander can suffer from loss of the 4 wheel drive but I thought it was the rear wheel drive that was lost not the front wheel drive. Has anyone any idea of what the problem is and what I need to do to get it repaired. An isea of cost would also be appreciated. Thanks for any help. EggNChips
Are you sure this is the case? What test's have you done to confirm that the front isn't being driven? I can't think of any fault that would produce that result bar the diff within the IRD being broken, but that would mean the rear wheels weren't driven either....... FridgeFreezer
That's very odd if it's true, it's either a very strange IRD failure or some joker has removed the front driveshafts
