Well Ladies and Gentlemen its just a few days to go before the 4th and final Round of the AWDC Challenge North West 2014, which will be held at Mow Cop near Congleton Cheshire on the 19th October.

We are looking at a large number of enteries so make sure you let me know either by phone, PM, email, message or post, to avoid dissapointment.

As always we are totally dependent on the volunteer marshals who are vital in making these events function properly, so can you also let me know.

Those of you who have been to Mow Cop before will know of its ability to provide a great site with just about everything that can be thrown at a motor.

Usual great camping and plentful parking on good ground, one of the best views in the area with Cheshire as your picture, toilets, usual "off the cuff" entertainment by the team, couple of great pubs nearby (for those that need one), and a huge friendly welcome to what should be a fun competitive weekend. Good "crack" saturday night with a good old chin wag around the fire.

You know the legend by now - "by competitors - for competitors", please do support us.

We are also keen to know your suggestions for next year, so don't be shy with your ideas please.

Chris

Although I am not a competitor but a spectator I just like to say if you think of spectating but never been then go! My wife and I went along to the last round our first trip to the North West rounds although not many competitors (clash of dates) it was well organised and great course. But above all everyone was exceptionally friendly we had a great laugh and everybody made us most welcome even to us southern softies.

So thanks to Chris hope you got your oil leak sorted.

Right Gents

Postcode to a house next door is ST7 3PW

But here goes anyway

From Biddulph stay on the A527 towards Congleton, you will just as your approaching the outskirts of Congleton go under a bridge (Staffs/Cheshire border) keep going for approx 1 mile until you arrive at the traffic lights, turn left into Leek road, take the 4th left turn (just before Railway bridge) into Moss Road.

Follow Moss Road past garden centre round right hand bend and you will see another Railway Bridge turn left into Mow Lane along side tracks and keep on this road to site, you will go past Horshoe Inn (fine country pub) up the steep bank and site is at top of the hill (just where it opens up) through gate on right.

A34 Congleton to Kidsgrove road, turn at Astbury Church (big Church big spire near pub called Edgerton Arms) there is a big green triangle of land with a small garage on junction.

Up past Church, ignore small right turn into house's and take right fork at the junction (with house in middle) this called Dodds Lane and keep on over Canal bridge until you reach the end which is where it meets Mow Lane (just over Railway bridge) turn right up past Horseshoes Inn (dam fine country pub and still is) and up bank to site as above.

Lads that is really the only ways to site with a trailer, caravan or lorry, If you approach from the other way you will have to go down past the site and try to turn around somewhere.

Who needs Multimap........

We aim to start scrutineering after 8.00am and start at the latest 10.00hrs this will bring a finish in daylight for possibly the last challenge event on the calender.

Its given out some great weather for the weekend, could you also make sure you please bring a bin-bag to remove any rubbish you may produce as it is working farmland with livestock back on there the day after.

Thanks for your support.

Chris
