There are at least two currently on Ebay but I am not certain if the 1.8P & 2.0D & TD4 use the same item so a quick check of part numbers would be required to avoid the possibility of purchasing the wrong one.

Transport of such a large item is a problem so the local breakers option is probably your best bet unless one comes up on Ebay that is local to you.

I thought they all had one. As Tim said, it is just a metal frame with a flimsy plastic centre.

Looks like the part number you need is KRB500020 (superceeds KRB100913) at about £495!! Probably your best bet would be a breakers or eBay

I replaced mine with a used Mantec one after the plastic centre got broken by the first bit of offroading. It's now only 4 bolts to remove at service time as well.

If you're anywhere near Godalming or Alton you're welcome to have my old frame, but you'll to make a new centre section.

Rob.

It's more a splash-guard and also provides some degree of noise-containment: to get EU type-approval cars need to pass a 'drive-by' noise-test and modern Direct Injection Diesels often find it difficult to meet the requirements without various acoustic add-ons.

I agree it offers little protection to anything, its just plastic. I did notice that without it the fan (auxiliary what ever you want to call it) belt was chewed up on my Td4. Possible side effect of having nothing between it and the road.
