Rear brakes money saver

Found out from searching the rear calipers/discs/pads etc are identical to the disco 2 kit. So this keeps the price down or allows you to shop around for parts.

The one annoying part which needed replacing after 14 years of mud/rust etc was the disc stone/dirt shields.

P38 part FTC3546 £80 and difficult to find

Disco 2 part FTC4778 £20

but would it fit?

short answer , close out of the box.

long answer yes, needs 2 holes drilling and a small amount of metal removing to allow it to slide over axle. The single bolthole is in the right place and the remaining bracket allows you to mark holes. I used the old disc shields as a template to cut the new shields.

Saving £120 for both.
