KEITHB252
What are the signs that the viscous coupling has seized on my Freelander 1 and how do i check it.Thank You.
FridgeFreezer
Hard to manoeuvre when doing tight turns, when coasting to a stop it's as if the brakes were dragging, various clonks/groans from suspension when parking, turns much easier on loose surfaces, or if it's done more than 100k since the VCU was last/ever replaced. If you've driven any other LR product with a centre diff, it feels a bit like driving with the centre diff locked, funnily enough!
KEITHB252
Thanks for that.Everything appears okay,no knocks/clunks or groans. The only thing i have noticed, turning left the front tyre squeals even if it is wet.The other day a 14 plate Range Rover was parking and his tyres did the same. FridgeFreezer
You mean pulling away quickly when turning left the tyre chirps, or that it squeals during parking?
KEITHB252
Parking or just turning left, not going fast.
