RizzleKicks Posted December 3, 2014 Share Posted December 3, 2014 Hey Guys , Both my rear windows on my 5 Dr FL1 2004 model have stopped working, now i have contaced LR Stealers and they are awfully pricey for new regulators if thats what the fault is , or could it be something else thats failed ? If it is the regulators can anyopne advise me where i can decent quality Window Regs from without paying through the roof ? FridgeFreezer Posted December 4, 2014 Share Posted December 4, 2014 If they make a horrible noise it's probably the cable that's frayed, rebuild kits are about a tenner on eBay, got mine from a seller called "e-crofting". If they do nothing, could be electrics, switch, wiring, motor or fuse etc. I bought a cheap britpart regulator, lasted 2 weeks before it broke. scottincy Posted January 23, 2015 Share Posted January 23, 2015 Hi, i replaced mine a while ago. Very easy to do, it must be, i did mine. Get aftermarket ones, not very expensive.
