P38 Paul
Hi everyone , I have a diesel leak on my P38 , it is coming from one of the unions at the injector pump & one of the high pressure pipes that go to the injectors , the union is real tight so my question is :- is there a seal like an 'o' ring in there , or is it a compression type fitting ? any help at all would be very helpful . I don't know about the Diesel pump but certainly the petrol has a clip with an "o" ring if we are talking about a similar connection type. steve b
No O rings on the injector pipe, just flared ends on the pipe and matching seats on the pump and injectors and unions for the pipes onto the IP are normally sealed with copper washers cheers Steveb
