90 wiring loom

Recommended Posts

Went to wire in the electrics for the tow bar but looks like a few people have had a go at the electrics and made a bodge of it. So I'm wanting to just change out the rear loom so any ideas on the best place to buy one and a rough price of what I shoul expect to pay as this is my first trip in to the land of owning a Land Rover.

the loom across the rear is part of the chassis loom, see item 1 in http://lrcat.com/#31/4/52817 90 & 110 chassis loom is the same item, but some do not have wiring for rear heated screen or rear wash/wipe, so this must be noted if you order a new loom from the link below.

a couple of options
1. get some 7 core trailer cable & repair your existing loom
2. no rear wash/wipe or heated rear screen http://www.autosparks.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1406

or

with rear wash/wipe & heated rear screen http://www.autosparks.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=2009
choose from the drop dowm list for the VIN range to suit your VIN number.
3. contact Autosparks & order the correct colour code wiring to repair your existing loom.

Brilliant thanks for that I did think about using 7 core but discounted it for some reason. Will have a look on that site as would be good to get a proper loom as I'm guessing it will have all the proper plugs to conect the lights etc and to keep it simple for me when re connecting. But I'm guessing nothing is going to be simple judging by the birds nest and chock block mess I've uncovered
