Dezzie
Hi guys. Freelander series 1, year 2000, L series Diesel. This is something that has bothered me for some time, but probably seems quite a small problem, but irritating none the less! When I need to clean the screen, I pull back the lever to spray the screen.... First pull - nothing happens. Second pull - a dribble from the bonnet squirters. Third pull - a slow small flow will hit the bottom half of the screen. Fourth pull - the windscreen is sprayed perfectly. If I pull the lever once, and hold it in position, it doesn't get better. Why do I have to pull the lever back four times? Is this a faulty switch, or faulty motor? It happens if the reservoir is full, half full or nearly empty. Any other Freelander doing this? It's got me scratching my head - I can tell you! Thanks for any help. Cheers. Matt.
western
maybe the pipework from wash tank to jets or the holes in jets are partly clogged up, give the jey holes are poking with a thin needle or straightened out paper clip.
