bobtailrangie
Hi all I need to order up a throttle cable for a 72 rangie on carbs but all I can find available is the nasty britpart jobbies Anyone know where I can source a decent one from? Tanuki
Give these people a call: http://www.speedycables.com/ If they don't have one they will make one up using your old one as a pattern. (They're also great at making up 'one-offs' if you are trying to link up a speedo to a gearbox that was never a manufacturer-supported combination). Ally V8
I've heard the S---part cables are very poor... Another suggestion is to buy a clutch/front brake cable making kit from somewhere like trialsbits.co.uk I have to make up all the cables for my old trials bikes as they are not available off the shelf. The Venhill kits are very good quality and have enough bits in them to cover just about anything.Just remember that a bike throttle cable would be a bit thin for a foot operated throttle opening 2 Strombergs... Simon_CSK
I may have a second hand one in my garage if you can post a photo. Not back in UK until Sunday though so would need to wait until Monday to post.
