simonr Posted June 9, 2015 Share Posted June 9, 2015 It may not be the original fob for the car - but it's easy (with something like NanoCom or RovaCom) to program any fob to the car. I programmed my Freelander to use my Defender fob (as they are the same) - meaning I only needed one on my keyring! If you live anywhere near Horsham - I'd be happy to program yours for free! FridgeFreezer Posted June 10, 2015 Share Posted June 10, 2015 They can lose sync if the battery has gone flat or the phases of the moon have wandered... with the car unlocked (and a working key & fob on hand to get you out of trouble) try pressing the "unlock" button on the unknown fob 5 times in a row, it *should* then sync to the car & work if it's been previously coded to the vehicle.
