Adjustable Swivel Pin...

I'm wondering if doing an adjustable version of the top swivel pin (Defender/top bearing in this case) is something that anyone has tried or has thoughts on? My general feeling is one where the pin is separate and v-fine threaded with two lock-nuts above might work and be less hassle to keep the preload in spec. Yes, I've been having issues with swivel pre-load not staying consistent.

Something else is wrong !

It's a good idea that you shouldn't need? But I've never had any luck unless I clean and strip the whole swivel assembly spotless, set the pre-load and then fit the seal. They are a complete A to do for sure. My sympathies :)

If you do the thread thing, we want photo's :i-m_so_happy: As this type of adjustment was fitted to International tractors.
