boaterboy
Hopefully, a simple request! Please could somebody provide me with a link to the section in the Land Rover manual showing the clutch hydraulic system (master cylinder, slave cylinder, etc.). Thank you, in anticipation. boaterboy
I really appreciated your speedy reply, Shackleton. I see that your reference page nos. show a V8 arrangement. Is the TD5 the same? The reason I ask is that nothing is shown of the switch(s) which I understand are in the system to disengage the cruise control, if switched on, and/or cut the revs on changing up? Shackleton
Your guess is as good as mine. I would have thought so, and I'd say the switches/wiring will be on the electrical diagrams. You'll find that section of RAVE if you Google it. What is it you need to do?
boaterboy
Good morning, Shackleton, I was trying to prove to someone who installed for me a new clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder and associated pipes that the switch in the system that activates the fuel cut-off (to reduce revs on changing gear) and disengages the cruise control (when depressing the clutch lever) had been missed off! This I have now done. Incidentally, on my vehicle there is no switch on the clutch lever (below the facia) which I understand was an alternative arrangement. Thank you for your help and ongoing interest. I appreciated it.
