Arjan Posted August 12, 2015 Share Posted August 12, 2015 Friends of mine were having a ball, as they do each year, in the Alps and the Mrs. suggested taking the Hybrid there for a spin. Plan was to take the "South Entrance" on the way up and come back over Mont Cenis for a very good breakfast at the lake. Good plan - but unfort. was the road blocked 40 miles from the destination and was a 120 miles detour required... So, after some serious climbing and good views I made it to the camping and time for some sleep. Next day, several vehicles were serviced and a good time was had with friends, old & new. The evening & night were filled with a serious thunderstorm and worse rain but the tent did it's thing and kept me dry.. Part of the route was taken by a well know guy : Hannibal Just after dark I was back home. 1,200 kms. in 2 days in a 53 year young Series Hybrid.
