RRMatador
Hi, I have a P38 1997 DSE with an intermittant gearbox fault. If i accelerate needing a kick down the car stutters and goes into limp mode with "gearbox fault" being displayed. This can sometimes be rectified by turning the car off and back on, and i have a feeling it might be relevant to temperatures, as a short run will need a relatively short time to rectify the problem, but on a longer run the car may have to be off for a couple of hours. I have currently had a recon transfer box, torque convertor and gearbox fitted however this has not solved the problem. It is currently in a garage but i think they are scratching their heads. I'm assuming it must be a sensor somewhere that is casuing the issues...could anyone point me in the right direction? TIA RRMatador
