2003Freebie
The Freelander is too small to comfortably carry passengers in the back seats. So, I decided, after over 250K kilometers, and 13 years of ownership, to convert it into a small teardrop style caravan. Has anyone else heard of this? dirtyninety
No, why would you turn a freelander into a caravan?
HoggyN
This has to be a wind up!
simonr
Why not! It could be quite cool. With all the seating removed, there is certainly (just) enough space. Put Gas & Batteries under the bonnet. I would add a fair bit more insulation than standard otherwise it will be very cold in the winter - and probably block off the rear & rear side windows, again for insulation. If the front A-Frame & hitch were removable, you could park up (and sleep in it) anywhere - which is a big plus! I hope to see how it progresses.
