HoSS
I'm struggling to find some 3/8" x 4" high tensile bolts, preferable fine. Its for a propshaft extension spacer. Anyone have a good supplier that deals with joe public? I could open it out to M10, but i wouls like to avoid if possible.
Bowie69
Not got a supplier, but if you went to M10, I would suspect the prop yoke would make it very difficult to get any sort of spanner in place to tighten it up, or the diff/transfer box flange impossible to fit nuts? When looking for this sort of thing I tend to go to my local nuts and bolts place, the stuff they have on the shelf is much more than any internet-related company woul dbe able to display. HoSS
M10 would work in my case (its not LR) but i would rather stick with 3/8 UNF. Anyway i found this place https://www.namrick.co.uk/ they look ok. The problem i have is since i live in euroland, i dont have any local shops to get imperial, so mail order is my only option. cackshifter
If you are really struggling I seem to recall A series cylinder head studs are about that length and 3/8, NC one end, NF the other, and probably not made of cheese - whether you could adapt them I know not. HoSS
I can report that Namrick seem to be good. Quick delivery (abroad) of the correct bolts in decent quality.
