What's the best diagnostic kit for PC with freelander?

Friend at work let me try out his Bluetooth plug and play obd2 unit from eBay. I think it was about £10 and the app was free. It displays just about everything on a live feed, and also interrogates ecu fault codes and clears them.

Going to get one myself on payday, the interface is really good, it's displayed on gauge readouts on your phones screen that you can configure to your preference.

Regards

James

Just a regular ELM327 adapter, you can buy them anywhere. Like these ones: http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/ELM327-v1-5-Bluetooth-OBD2-OBDII-Interface-Auto-Diagnostic-Scanner-Car-Tool-/331263180816?pt=FR_JG_Auto_Pi%C3%A8ces_Outillage&hash=item4d20d30010

And then couple that with the Torque app on Android, excellent for reading live data and resetting faults.

yeah sorry as mentioned above. he read it on his samsung galaxy s4 via an app. i've got iPhone 5 and works with that too via app store obviously. even buying an old iPod touch and adaptor will probably be cheaper than a proper diagnostic kit!!
