trickydicky
hi all iv just brought a 200tdi and the glow plug relay was unplugged so I pluged it in and then it seemed to be stoping on and I was getting white smoke so I brought a new relay and that's the same . while digging around in the battery box I noticed the thick brown wire was connected to the negative can anybody tell me if this is correct ? I was under the impression brown was an unfused feed so I thought it would be possative not negative.
Ex Member
It should be connected to positive. That is the power supply for the plugs.

Briarston
Hi May be able to help with the connections. I should have a drawing ( it's at work) so will try and dig it out tomorrow, and get back to you if no one else beats me to it.
trickydicky
that's great if you could . I don't want to burn anything out so id rather check before I start moving wire around .
