Maverik Posted April 16, 2014 Share Posted April 16, 2014 No they are longer... 127" to be precise... the early "130"'s where just 110 chassis that had been lengthened, but later on they produced them as a proper 130" chassis. western Posted April 16, 2014 Share Posted April 16, 2014 as above, these should be one piece [no extension visible] chassis, the VIN will tell you if it was a 110 prior to being converted to a 127/130 as these remain on a 110 VIN number. A friend bought a much later 130 and was surprised when we measured both vehicles and found them both to be 127". I find its a great vehicle, just not as practical as a 110, not much space inside etc. correct on the 110 V5 info as it would have been a factory conversion & wheelbase is 127 inches, 130 was just the model titles, so you had 90/110/130 = 20 inch difference between the models. western Posted April 27, 2014 Share Posted April 27, 2014 IIRC the 130 chassis was built as a full chassis after 300tdi came out, maybe both have extra strengthen plates welded on to make it stronger in the long part of the main rails.
