IanT90
I am in need of two new front tyres, at present I have 235 X 70 X 16's but want to change over to 205 X 80 X 16. Can you mix the two sizes (obviously same type on front and same type on the back) or do I have to bite the bullet and buy all 4 ? Not sure if the size difference would impact/ damage gearing or diff's ? The two rear tyres although they have seen better days, have a very good tread and will get me through next couple of months till I have the cash to replace them to. Any advice
ToyRoverlander
Just about the exact same tire diameter so no problem at all.

ToyRoverlander
You're welcome There's only 0.4mm difference in diameter according to the stated tire size, real numbers could vary a bit ofcourse and due to wear there will very well be a difference too, but that's why they invented the differential .
