Wex
'96 300 TDI 130 Tipper Just checking to see if anyone has had any issues with the above. One terrafirma HD flange on my rear salisbury axle chewed its half shaft so I bought a pair along with new shafts.Thing is the new flanges wont fit the shafts. The new half shafts are exactly the same as the previous shafts ( FTC1724 & FTC 1725 ). The old ( still intact ) flange fits the new shafts smoothly only for a small bit of movement from wear. The new flanges ( TF859) however have a slightly different spline profile where they haven't a pointed V shaped spline but a \_/ shaped spline if that makes sense ? .Anyone else ever experience this ? eds
My flanges needed force to get them on and that was with old shafts......
tacr2man
I bought four , one fitted Ok , the next was a tight drive fit , the third I had to file out ! and the fourth havent got to yet . I went down to Frogs , and they got a new one out , it was same wouldnt go on , but they had a broken shaft there , that it did go on , I couldnt really take it any further as my shafts are h/duty maxi drive , but not really that impressed with them , the o ring seal is not seated that well , you have to be careful how you tighten the cap nut .
