landroversforever
Have any of you lot got any pictures looking from the bulkhead towards the LT230 with the seatbox mounted? I need to see what space there is around the LT230 in the seatbox opening to clear my new gearbox mount. Failing that, has anyone got a mint R380 seatbox? Thanks in advance! dangerous doug
Probably not exactly what your after as mine is an lt77 seat box and tunnel but there is a fair bit of room around it. I beleve the r380 has more space? HTH

You can just modify your existing seatbox with the R380 plate - drill out the spotwelds from a tatty box and transfer the plate to your current box and trim the seatbox away where needed. Landrover used to do this themselves with the 300tdi Repower kit and supply the plate as a spare part. I've just condemned yet another rotten 300tdi 90 yesterday if you need a seatbox plate r380 plate.
landroversforever
I don't want any joins, I want it with a factory tunnel. I just need to see what space there will be around the back of the box/adaptor in the R380 tunnel.
oneandtwo
I don't want any joins, I want it with a factory tunnel.Good luck with that one then, as the factory are still this day knocking out the same lt77 seatbox with the r380 adaptor spotwelded onto it hidden under the soundproofing mat
landroversforever
Yeah the lip is probably spot welded on, but the hole for an LT77 is far far smaller so you wouldn't be adding stuff to fit an R380 tunnel.
miketomcat
Ross this may or may not help you but I have a mould for an R380 tunnel and bulkhead flange. Mike
landroversforever
I'm awaiting one of your tunnel flanges from TJ. however I'd quite like a tunnel as well at some point. I have a standard one for mockups/building around, but would be nice to swap out for one of yours at some point later in the build!
