Yolandi
Hi all, after noticing that my 200 lp is using more oil tham usual ( full down to half in 3 weeks) i started to look for more leaks, i havnt found any but there seems to be alot of oil in the filter and cooler, i know some in the cooler is normal but the filter side is quite a bit (i think) could the seperator clogged? Yolandi
Ok, mines just turned over 116k, it just seems like a lot of oil to me, the manual calls for paraffin to clean the seperator but would petrol work?

Petrol works fine. With your engine running at idle do you get any chugging from the oil filler cap? I rebuilt my 200 TDi around 12000 miles ago and it still sends oil through the intercooler. You can get an oil catch for about 20 quid if it's bothering you, I need to get one.
