gothbiker
I've been looking at making a snorkel for my ex mod 110, there are no air vents on the wings, so I'm going to make my own pipe work, the only thing I'm having trouble finding is the top of the air filter (mushroom) is it possible to have the air filter built in? I'm swapping engines in the future so it will be beneficial for it to be out of the engine bay, the donaldson type seem to be pre cleaners, the same as most of the tractor ones, has anybody else done this? I've read lots of posts, even emailed dakar 4x4 any help would be great

Boris113
I squeezed a K&N Cone inside a mushroom top with the help of a die grinder and tiger seal. I'll try and find some pictures if that's any help?
tacr2man
the snorkle for the earlier land rovers went thru the wing with a bulkhead type fitting (pipe with flange) . I put my aircleaner at the end of the snorkle on front of roof . This is one on wing but gives you the idea
Mo Murphy
I've also done the same on a previous land rover and put the air box on the roof. Mo
