Today I needed a largish shim of about 4.75 thou...............

A John Smiths beer can is exactly 5 thou and its steel..................

A Cafferys beer can is also exactly 5 thou and its aluminum..................


Both are easily cut with scissors ...................

But I only drink Guinness

(which by the ease you can puncture a full can could be 3 thou!)

Now THAT is the sort of info that is stored away and one day WILL be useful
