A tip that may help a few...............


Today I needed a largish shim of about 4.75 thou...............

A John Smiths beer can is exactly 5 thou and its steel..................

A Cafferys beer can is also exactly 5 thou and its aluminum..................


Both are easily cut with scissors ...................

So if you take a john smith with you on the trail, you can also fix an exhaust-first need to drink it though.
