Does anyone know of anywhere that does such a course? Just that I'm hopefully Morocco bound over summer, and my engineering/mechanical skills are non-existant at the moment!
Hi
One good thing is to get your hands on is the repair manual from Landrover, and not the Hayens one. Read it. Having read it and you will have a good idea of what to do if (when) something goes wrong. We, the wife and I, used ours a lot on a 10 month trip to India and back to Denmark some 20 years ago, engine, gearbox and other minior things that went wrong

. We were able to take the engine or gearbox out in less than 3 hours in the middle of nowhere

, it takes a bit longer now as we are out of practise. We have the original manual in danish published by Landrover. Believe me it IS the bible regarding repairing Landrovers.
