How many punches will be set out in wales? Just wondering because it can be a bit frustrating having to wait for a punch to become free with 40 trucks and 40 punches.
Cant wait to get on to another new site

Chris - There will be 40 CyberPoints at all events this year.
Carl - There will be a high resolution aerial photo showing the location of all the points - plus an orange streamer at each point - plus miles of blue rope to guide you in to them, not really hidden then

How about more actual technical driving and winching sections rather than 18 punches at least waist deep in a river?

The whole point of an 8 round series is 8 different types of terrain and 8 different types of challenge
Come and tell me on Sunday evening after the next event if there wasn't enough technical driving and winching
(They weren't waist deep in a river when we laid them out on the Saturday

but some people seem to spend an awful time and energy preparing a car just for that sort of thing)

Hi Neil, Simon Wilkinson is co-driving for me for the rest of the year, could you amend the list please. I was thinking about the 40 punches again and guess that when you take into account travel time between punches, special stages break down's etc, its not going to be such an issue. What was the 100 point bonus for on our score for slab?
The deep water is all part of the fun, however it was a bit cold for swimming at slab, next year ill take a wetsuit

Just put the fattest, widest tyres possible on for this site. Very few trees and a set on a gentle hillside in the rolling countryside of north wales.

Hotel? In Gwydelwern? Gotta be joking!! There's a nice hedge next to the shippon on the site that you can sleep under. Watch out for the sheep rustlers though, they're quite active at the moment.
seriously though, there are a couple of allegedly decent establishments nearby in Corwen itself, especially of the B&B ilk. There is a pub type accomodation in Glyndwyfdwy (try pronouncing that one if your not welsh..) about 5 miles from Corwen towards Llangollen, or there are plenty of places to eat and sleep in Llangollen itself, about 10 miles away.
Good luck to all coming to play, its going to be a good event and fairly spectator friendly as well.

This is Wales, man. We don't have flat bits.
Doesn't everyone know that we all live on the side of a mountain?
Yes, Wern Ddu is a little bit 3 dimensional, but the view from the very top is teriffic.
The bottom of the site is at 190m (637ft) and the top is at 350m (1137ft). The contour lines are very close together, so yes, bring your mountain goats!!!

its a working farm (well kind of) so the lane is big enougth to fit a wagon down , Neil has emailed every one explaning the best way to get large vehicles on to the site , but if you get stuck turn right at the end of the lane (just before the farm house) and theres a large area at the bottom of the site you could turn around in
