I'm after a couple of U-bolts to clamp a small piece of angle onto my discovery drag link (I have a Paddocks H/D bar) as part of my plan to move my steering damper off the track rod to a safer place.

I need 2 U-bolts suitable to clamp round a 32mm O/D Bar, I bought some from a chap on Ebay (Stainless direct) but after 2 weeks of messing me around he re-funded my money as he didn't have them to send.

..any ideas where else to try?

we use them in work quite a bit all different sizes available off the shelf, they do zinc and stainless, we use the zinc plated and seem to stand the weather very well if you fancy saving a couple of quid, but would have the stainless on my disco

scrap that sorry, just re-read your location thought it said northwest at first glance.

Exhaust clamps go down as small as 32mm (1¼" in the old money) e.g. - EXHAUST CLAMP - U BOLT

You could also try - RS Components, Boat Chandlers, Trailer Parts and TV Aerial Installers.
