Hi yesterday, after i painted my old td brake pedal housing and tightened everything to the bulkhead, i put the 300 tdi servo and mc and the bolt holes didn't match with the brake pedal housing.... blink.gif

It seems that the rover guys invented another pedal housing for the 300 type servo.....a bit of fettling with a measure tape with my friends tdi pedal housing and it looked just the same but the holes are in another place....so got the driller out, made a template and drilled four holes...then everything fitted...tightened everthing up, attached the pin with the pedal and that was it for yesterday.

Now i'm worried that i got something wrong in the process, or i missed something somewhere that a 300 pedal housing does have different.

Anyone ever made this conversion? I Only can try if everything works, when i'll do the pipework and bleeding... sad.gif

i had to redrill the holes to mount a disco 200tdi vacuum onto a std 2.5 petrol pedal housing (i wanted the bigger capacity servo) and works fine no probs. dont forget to tell the insurance that you have modified the brakes though
