Has anyone got a definitive answer on the temp sender issue for disco motors in defenders? got a disco motor in my '86 110 which used to be 2.5NA with a steve parker sender and it still reads hgh, when the motor was in the disco it always ran pretty cool. Can anyone reccomend a sender that works at the correct temp range as the 110 setup reads the temp in the head not at the thermostat housing. Or maybe a guage that will work at the right range??
Cheers all

A VDO gauge and a VDO sender does it for me. wink.gif

Correct Defender 200Tdi temp sender that screws in the thermostat housing is PRC8593, that should work with your existing gauge.

Do you know what thread PRC8593 is?
Many thanks

I'm not sure of the thread type, but I believe it has been mentioned on here previously by guys doing the same engine swap.
