Hello Everyone

I got small (i think ) problem with my '00 Freelander. My HDC system work quite strange :
When i put starter swich to position II , HDC lights (green & abmber) lights up , and out in a few seconds - this is OK, BUT : , when I select HDC on my gear lever , green light won't illuminate , won't flash... i select first & rev gear , the light is still dark.

I read LR manual , and that light should be flash if ony other gear is selected , and iluminate when i select HDC...

I think that HDC System is working good, when i drive down from small hill , HDC has breaking my Freelander very nice...

(yes i know double post ) ,
I found some clues for my HDC problem. Today I remove gear lever gaiter, and I found multiconnector with two wires (purple & Black) . Every thing should be fine but , i can't find any - ANY place to plug it in . I look around precisely my gear lever & HDC Switch... no connector...

How should be look that connector , and where it is localized on gear lever ? I found some broken plastic near the lever, so i think that former owner of my Landy broke down the plug connector.

so , Probably i need new HDC switch , i found two part numbers , but no photos of parts. Witch part number from those two is correct for my car ?

Hi,

According to Microcat, UML100000LNF is the switch that goes on the gearstick. The other switch goes in the gearbox.
