We have a client coming in tomorrow to have his rubber springs thrown out (one has a hole in it) and replaced with steel springs. Unfortunately our supplier of blue Britpart springs (or maybe Bearmach) will not get a delivery from the UK for another two weeks. However we have no less than eight yellow/yellow springs under the bench. These have been removed from the front of Defender 110s (we think). The only rather hopeless and out of date 'spring bible'we can find shows the DII with yellow/yellow and white/white springs. Presumably the stronger white/white ones are for the drivers side, though I must say I think this is a load of rubbish for non-Series vehicles with a symmetrical fuel tank.

So the question is - will the yellow/yellow springs be ok? The customer will be happy because we will let him have them cheap.
