4.6 gems powered V8

Has a system I belive mounted to the flywheel and sensor all inside bellhousing.

Look as I have I can't find any pics of the flywheel, timing unit / sensor etc....

Anyone got them, that they can post up pics of or parts pics ?

Also is a 4.6 GEMS V8 MANUAL flywheel a straight swap for a say 3.5 / 3.9 flywheel, ?

I asked RPi about this a while back whilst forming plans - the manuals are rare as rocking horse manure, they had one flywheel and they wanted to keep that for their own use sad.gif

I'd say stick with the sensor-in-dizzy idea, easier to fiddle with the dizzy than the flywheel!

My advice is tick a 36-1 on the front pulley.

However, i do have an Auto GEMS flex plate with the toothed bit on. This is a seperate item from the flex plate and is fixed by rivets. It would be easy to remove from flex plate and afix to the flywheel.

I did not do this because a) my racer is auto! cool.gif why bother when millions of vehicles use a crank pulley set up reliably (and taking the engine out is a pain)
