well this last week ive been working in the land rover distribution yard at Gaydon.

theres just 1000's of land rovers there stored, ready to go out to he dealerships.

anyway whilst working there i came across this rangey abandoned in the middle of the compound



made in Feb 96....... so its over 10 years old and has never moved since being parked there...... 4.0 litre/auto, brown leather interior, still with all the covers on. tyres are alittle soft and the batteries flat. with a good wash and overhaul would this be any good now?............... or shall i not bother to try and reacue it?

Reckon it would be fine with a bit of TLC & some decent batteries, wonder why it got left behind

none of the lads seemed to know why it was left.......... i'll see if i can blag it off land rover...... but im not holding my breath.

Wonder how much they would take for it - or will they get all snotty and want it to go out via the trade?

Just don't sign the bit that says you accept paying the storage charge for 10 years!!!

if they filled the tank before parking it they'll make about £40 even if they give it away!
