i ve got a hole in my chassis and i was wondering whats the best amp welder to use on it?

wot amperage welder have u got?
if its too high then turn it down?

the only welder ive got is a arc and its a 240amp, 1 phase

u can arc weld chassis but mig is my preferred welder.

the ones ive got r quite thick

do some test welding on some 2mm sheet before u do the job

I'm all for people doing their own fab and learning to weld, but maybe starting on a chassis isn't such a good idea?

Do you know any good welders who could do it for you?

I'm just thinking of your safety.
