Full Version: Best source for "bacon slicer" cutting discs?

For 115mm thin cutting discs (1mm) Machine Mart get as far as 61p/disc including the VAT if you buy 25, eBay gets to 48p/disc for 25 that look like you might find them in the local 50p shop (false economy?)

So - where else sells 'em for decent money?

I think this is the thread marcus is refering to.

Personally I get them from two grumpy gets in a greenhouse with lots of hammers my friendly local Blacksmiths and I can't complain at £1 each as they are excellent quality.

i have used cheep ones before never again as i had to remove fragments from my wrist. They were too fragile and kept shattering.

Ditto, I just get 10 £1 one's locally when I need them.

Have just found the local tool shop do decent ones for 59p/disc if you buy 50 blink.gif so I'm off there ASAP.
