I have a lynx unit and mine too wouldn't work. It turned out the unit itself was broken. Needed it changed. So then had the hassle of sending back and getting another. Also another problem is why is it a 0845 I think number why not a 0800 continental are huge so can cope with the line cost. I did get another unit finally and had to re activate it. It is a good bit of kit just would of. Even nice to have it working out of the. Ok. I also need another code now as have a d2 that needs a £180 code. Bit high for something already expensive. Just my moan of the day. Oh ye the gearbox seals that britpart do are total rubbish and leak more than the original I had !!!!

Hi you clever lot. Again my car ceases to astound me. It has had a new alternator then the brake light switch went and now the dif lock light comes on every now and then. It is of the age (2000 w reg) that had them fitted well part anyway. Could I have a Wiring fault or issue somewhere. It is probably a common thing. Looking in the Haynes manual the f25 fuse via a resistor goes to the diff lock switch. My question is , is the diff lock coming in and out willy nilly a wiring fault or what. Any thoughts would be appreciated

Hi guys. I have a discovery 2 auto. Only had it a few months now. I took it in to a local garage and they noticed an oil leak between the transfer box and gear box. The auto fluid is getting past the seal and dribbling out. So. Out came the transfer box and the seal changed. It then leaked even more. The garage said it needed a new auto box which to be fair I thought was ott. They changed the seal yet again and this time it is better but leaks a bit. My question is, what next shall I keep topping up try a mother garage to sort it out. A new auto box. I have found wanna do a stop leak for a auto gearbox has any one used one? Are they any good.? Is it an option. I know loads of questions. Cheers guys
