Thank you for that, today's job will be having a look, I also noticed that there is a small cloudy fluid leaking from the speaker located at the foot well. Unfortunately I am choked with the cold so can't smell anything. I did have to top up the coolant level though.

Hi folks, Typically the first post is because I have an issue with my defender. I have a 1991 defender 90. Although I have I have worked with them all my life this is the first purchase, be it two years now. Basic of basic mechanical knowledge, but I have steam of sorts emitting from the heat vents, checked the heating unit and see steam emitting from there as well. Windows are steaming up pretty quickly as well. Before I disappear to the garage is there anything I can check or thoughts anyone. Ta.
