  1. There would be so many cars in the dream garage, but if I could only have one - Buggati type 59 G.P. r
  2. There are chassis drawings with dimensions in the defender workshop manual, which you can download. Try having a look for download links in the technical archive - I'm sure they are there somewhere.
  3. Not seen the jet tent, but the Oz tent RV1 fits in the back of a 90 - thats why I bought it.
  4. Truetrac is a torque biasing diff centre - I wouldn't write them off so quickly. Quaiffe do a torque biasing diff, similar to truetrac, but I would thing much better quality. You will get as many different opinions as people you ask,but I used a rear detroit in my landrover for a year or so,and thought it was great - no handling issues on the road and no clunking when disengaging. The only reason I changed to ARBs was because on very low traction surfaces the detroit would sometimes not unlock on a bend - which wasn't great for trialing. Give the Kiaser a go,and tell us about it.
  5. Old Man Emu are in between in terms of cost - at almost £100 each. Also in between in terms of quality.
  6. Allisport and Allard both offer what you want. Come on porny!whats your price?
  7. Surely the man has mental health problems - look at the collection of levels in the last photo!
  8. I am looking for roadbooks to drive. We are entered in the Bresslau Rally in June. And any sort of practice would help. Does anyone have the Total Off Road Yearbook 2010 with the salisbury route in it?
  9. Help,I am looking for a road book,in tulip diagram form, which covers Salisbury plain. I need to practice using tulip diagrams for an upcomming event. I believe Total Off Road magazine published one a year or two back. Any roadbooks - on or off road - in Wiltshire or Gloucestershire would be good. Thanks, Jerry.
  10. I don't think the sensors have changed. On the one piece cable I can't see any way to pull the inner cable out, short of cutting the end off.
  11. Fitting a brantz speedo cable sensor. I've read the instructions. How can I remove the inner cable to slide it trough the sensor when each end has moulded or crimped fitting on it?
  12. I need to re-build the swivels on a B reg defender 90. What are the part numbers for the bottom pin (two bolts holding it),the bottom bearing, and the top bush thing. Thanks anyone, Jerry.
  13. Thanks Ralph - your too good.
  14. I need all new stub axles on a defender 90. The front axle is from a B reg diesel 90. The rear axle is from a 300 tdi 90. Can anyone give me definite part numbers - there seams to be quite a few stub axle numbers? Thanks, Jerry.
  15. No. CO2 bottles have different fittings to welding gas bottles - also the pressures are much lower in CO2 bottles,so the range of the pressure scale would be unsuitible.
