  1. Guess what Just happen to have a room booked at exactly the same hotel on exactly the same dates. Not too sure who will be with me yet but looking forward to meeting faces both old and new.
  2. So am I to take it nobody has done one of these on here?
  3. So how difficult is it and do I need any special tools? Cheers
  4. No need to secure it. It will stay there without that stuped clip. Just make sure its in the correct place when refitting the slave cylinder. The cylinder has a spring in it pushing the rod towards the release arm.
  5. Its the correct switch all be it a britpart one! The connector will fit with the existing loom its that I dont have the additional loom needed and the colours on the new switch dont correspond to the manual or the diagrams you sent me!!
  6. Got the later switch but the wiring colours dont line up
  7. Well I drew a blank on this today as the wiring colours are different on the switch I have so Im back to square 1. It looks like the only way forward is to copy a loom that someone else has!
  8. Spot on, Ta muchley Will give it a go tomorrow
  9. Trouble is some of the connectors are hidden and I cant see the colours of the wire on them!!
  10. Yep saw this earlier before I posted but it dosen`t tell me how to make the loom!!
  11. Please help I am trying to fit delay wipers to an early 90 and have the switch PRC7370 and the delay unit AMR2341. I also need the wiring loom PRC8295 but it seems it is N/L/A. Does anybody have the diagram so i can make the loom myself? I have searched all the forums but cant sem to get anywhere

  13. 9K for a 2002 Discovery??? WHY
  14. Why? Many coach and bus suspension systems work on exactly the same principle. The only difference is they have an air bag and damper on each side. Nothing wrong with using leaf springs as trailing arms after all thats all that holds an axle in place on series vehicles.
  15. The simple answer is yes it will run, not very well and will damage the engine if used for a long time. You can add engine oil to it as a lubricant that will help it a little. If you are looking for a less expensive way to run an off road vehicle I suggest you use Red Diesel as this is the same as white with a colour added to it and less road duty, but DO NOT use it on the public highway, unless you wand a large fine of a visit to one of her majesty`s hotels!!!
