  1. I would love to turn up at my mates workshop for an M.O.T with that, think i would be asked to leave
  2. Give Micheldever tyres a ring, depends how far you want to travel? they are about 15 mins south of Newbury. Got a good deal on 5 General grabber AT2, But brought them off the shelf unfitted, and got a mate to put them on the rims. Ian
  3. Terrafirma medium 2"get my vote! Just a quick question back, did you trim your arches with your tyres/lift kit? just got a set the same size but not yet had time to play around fitting them to see how they perform. Cheers Ian
  4. Sorry i didnt make it today! I had to go and collect some wheels and rather sexy tires Thanks to a certain mr M.Murphy! Hope it was a good day though, see you all soon. Ian
  5. Or PM me your address, and i can send you everything the guys at Land rover gave me. It was handy to have!
  6. I can let you know tomorrow! the print out is in my workshop
  7. Im quite friendly with the parts chap, and a few in the workshop, they printed out all the angles for me Good job really, as it was quite differnt to what mr Haynes was saying!
  8. Here are a couple of photos of a Mini based jeep kit car thing that the old chap was building in about 1982 All from scratch. He used a scrap cooper S for the engine and running gear, He did get the panel work done after a few years, then it sat on a trailer in our garden for years and slowly rusted away
  9. I changed my head gasket for one of the multi layered ones (genuine part) the chap in the stores said its a "fit and forget" Also just done one on a mates rover with the 1800cc k-series engine in it.
  10. Very happy with the set up(Terrafirma medium) like anything though, the moment you go away from "standard" you will start getting knock on effects through the drive train, As i said im now looking at getting cranked rear radius arms, different prop, etc. I use mine every day for work too, so i do have to be a bit carefull with it off road, its not just a toy. Saying that im about to go for larger tyres for off roading, so im bound to bugger something else up soon! The joys of LR ownership!
