  1. Try here for an ABS modulator mailto:discovery2parts@supanet.com
  2. I would suggest the technical section of the D2 boys club
  3. You got it I was thinking of the Brazilian unit but could not remember who made it. LRO fitted one in 1 of there test disco's so there should be a write up on it somewhere.
  4. There is a 2.8 engine available I think it is Iveco? that is modelled on the 300tdi lump that will go straight in without any mods, the TD5 is all electronic so you would have to change wiring loom aswell as the fuel tank and pump as it has a high pressure system.
  5. Had alook on the D"boys club forum and found this post My link Hope this helps
  6. Hi I would ask the same question in the tech section of the D2boys clubMy link someone on there will definately be able to answer your question
  7. I have noticed a slight drop in the revs ie when doing 60mph the difference is about 250rpm so for only a few minutes work I think it is worth it
  8. I bought mine from MM4x4 18 months and 10000+ miles ago and have not had any problems since
  9. I am due to collect my 1998 1.8 3 door Freelander tonight.I have serious withdrawal symptons since my Td5 Disco died so when I was offered a cheap Freelander I jumped in feet first. What have I done.
  10. If you are only using for greenlaning I would only put 2" lift on this paired with a good set of tyres will get you almost every where with out any problems.I have had 3 disco's now and only ever lifted 2" and paired with 265 75 16 tyres.
  11. If you are certain that you want a 2" lift I would go with the Terrafirma kit as I have heard that this is a really good kit
  12. My temp gauge does a similar thing but it does it all the time when you first start up and run for a short distance the gauge stays in the bottom quater but when you go a bit further it shoots straight upto the middle i have presumed this was happening when my thermostat opens and the engine was at normal temp.To add mine does not have climate control just a normal heater.
  13. I have a 1999 D2 which has had a BCU problem ever since I have had it,I have to remove the fuse that is for the permanent live for the radio, clock and interior light, for some reason this allows me to use my blippers to lock and unlock the car.If I put the fuse back in the blippers do not work and the key will only unlock the drivers door. The only downsides are you have no interior light until you turn the ignition on and the clock and radio code need resetting everytime. It is worth a try if only to get you going again.
  14. I am running a td5 with a 60mm block lift and 265/75/16 cooper stt's and it looks quite good(or at least I think it does)
  15. I also had issues with water although I went a bit deeper (the back wave washed over my bonnet),the problem is the ecu getting wet I would check to see if you are getting any water up through the inner wing under the ecu.
