  1. I had wide angle props from Bailey Morris and as I work in parts I borrowed a new set of standard to try and it's still the same. timken wheel bearings fitted maybe it's the diff I've only noticed it since fitting the second hand diff I thought it could be cv joints?

I have a 200tdi 90 that I have just finished a min restoration I have had the body off to restore the chassis and replaced a few parts on the way I'm getting a horrible vibration on acceleration from about 20mph upwards but disappears when I back off the throttle what's been replaced so far new props new bearings new adrenalinne 4x4 castor correction arms front and rear heavy duty steering bars with all new ball joint new polybushed all round inc pan hard rod I have replaced the original front diff with a late 110 td5 one but that's been in a while I'm scratching my head now and getting frustrated any help would be much appreciated

Stripped my 90 to buzzweld the chassis and the seatbox and tub fell apart where the mounting holes are, this is a lt77 early 90 so trying to source a decent seatbox and tub has been rather challenging, I however managed to source a td5 tub and seatbox in excellent condition I was wondering if anyone has ever modified them to fit a earlier model I had a idea of blanking the fuel filler cap and putting a aero style cap where the earlier tub fillers are and thought of modding the seat box or just using a td5 tunnel
  5. Heaters are now red hot Adjusted the cable it wasn't even opening half way lol can't see why the hoses being the wrong way round on the matrix should cause a issue either as long as it flows through am I right?

Can someone help me out as I'm scratching my head with this one Defender has a 200tdi disco conversion and runs well but the heaters are rubbish someone pointed out the hoses to the matrix were the wrong way round after googling a few images I have found a few the same as mine and a few different so can anyone tell me how they should be

Ive had mg tf seats in mine made all I had to do was remove a small bracket very comfy and the centre seat could remain, fitted volvo coupe leathers in my father in laws they were mint but wide and no room for centre seat also put evo 6 recaros in my other pals but there was alot of work involved and the bolsters are really high, I have just removed a set of bespoke heated leather from mine for some CSK seats they fit perfect and look amazing

  9. Adrenaline ones are 2 months old so thats another £300 suppose I can get a bit back off the old ones

I have a 1987 defender that I have just changed the front axle for a td5 pre 2002 with vented discs off a 110, I have used my adrenaline 4x4 castor arms but now im getting vibration and wandering all over the road am I right in thinking it could be becuase of the narrow arm/bush in the wider bush casing causing this?

Can anyone give me any advice to fitting push bitton doors to my early defender, I have some late td5 doors to go on with the weather strip on the bottom, I have hung the doors but struggling to figure out where the striker has to be mounted and someone said I have to remove the bottom rubber off the door or sill?
  12. Oh and have you managed to keep the centre seat?
  13. Has anyone fitted car seats in there defender if sk what sort and how?
