  1. Im not sure if there is a relay on the front lights, Will have alook at my dads td5 tomorrow and see, its not here atm so cant have a ganders Daniel
  2. Do any of your dash lights flash? side light or turn signal light? Daniel
  3. You need to go with a dvd player radio forsure, this way you can have a reversing cam there not much more than a good priced radio and will keep you and your partner happy when your stuck and its raining lol Daniel
  4. Tenner says its an earthing problem, has the same with my 300tdi on the rear Double check the earths and all the light plugs even with alittle spray on in the conectors, thats the cheapist best starting point Daniel
  5. We did mine with shalts ( i think thats how its spelt ) really sicky stuff, and has worked ok so far, you just spray it on The best thing you could truely do would be to clean it all up and use navy steal but thats so much money, cheaper to buy another chassis lol Daniel
  6. Theres two/three ways of doing it, either transer box, or diffs, or like said with the power ( fueling ) depends on how much you want to spend or how good at workin on the thing You could get alot more poke by changing the rads to higher output ones or wind the fueling up, at some point i think someone has messed with my fuelin to get more power because with like for like tires i can out drag, my dads td5 and iv got a 300tdi, even more so on the uphill motorway runs It dosnt make much diffrence to the fuel costs, its always going to be naff from the off, but we dont buy these things for eco runs firstly though make sure your turbos in good nick because thats something that should be kept in tip top condition, not just for power but your yummy 300 engine Daniel
  7. It just tips the axel/diff, back to where it was, which helps road handling, iv got them fitted to mine and its lush on the road with the med spings, my dad dosnt have them and its god awful to drive on the road Daniel
  8. Hants and berks dont allow cranked arms, neither do a few other clubs. In the "alrc" as you have said, but we did a friendly trail a month or two back and run are trucks with so many no nos lol I think i failed on something like 6 things B.9.6. Any radius arms that have been welded to, drilled or cut into, deliberately notched or bent up/down/sideways are prohibited. Plus C.5.5. The only club that i know of that allows arms and so on is AWDC which has millions of class's but they seem to run under there own book Just worth a thought if you ever wish to try trailing propley, that some places might not like the cranked arms Daniel
  9. Stick with the stock ones if you ever wanna do trails with most clubs they dont allow cranked arms Daniel
  10. We use to use navy steal on the tugs, that stuff is awesome, but its uber dear £££££££ If it stops salt water rusting a metal tug, should work rather well on a landy Dan
  11. Great day out First time we had been and would probs go again ( just the distance there being the pain ) Daniel
  12. Hi Not sure if this will help in anyway shape or form, but really do check your earths when your changin lights about ( even more so on the tdi rear lights ) Had months of trying to find the problem with mine to only find it was down to an earthing problem, might be best to check your earths while changin lights keeps its all in tip top condtion then Also to drill a little hole in the buttom on the lens to let the water out after wading Daniel
