  1. What's this in metric please...Just in case I need to shim something while in the offi...hahaha JJ
  2. That strue GBMUD, but even some english peaople outed themselve sin this thread that they never heard of it... I never botherd with it so, I just dressed accordingly when it looked like rain...hehehe JJ
  3. It would be broke after about a day as the compressors fitted to household fridges wont survive beein shaken about in a landy for long. JJ
  4. I got a 60 litre National Luna. Still trying to break it after about 4 years of abuse in the back. I'ts been drowned and everything but just keeps going. Its a 60 litre jobby, but really wouldn't mind swapping it for a smaller one, thats not as tall. JJ
  5. Snap on... Or do what my mate has done. Buy a machine mart set, and every time something brakes replace it with the most expensive tool you can afford, eg snap on. I totally boycot Mac-tools...but keep asking their franchisee for flankdrive spanners and other typical snap-on stuff hehehe JJ
  6. Some Unimogs have centre mounted winches, they route the wire thru ali pipes along the chassis. If centre mounted i would go for a pto, as I have seen some truly magnifizent creations on Mogs. Lets say a 45deg slope, Defenders and Yotas are struggling up it with their pimped 8274, flying past, and I mean literally flying, comes a Hellgeth Mog with a PTO driven Rotzler. Ironic bit is that ther are 4 G-Wagens dangling from its towhitch as well... I just watched it gobsmacked, shame the winch weights half wot a Defi weights... JJ
  7. Ok we got mixed news, as I had a native French speaker foning up the other day. As of now they are still awaiting permission to reopen, but they are pretty confident that it will be open for easter. If not we will find a date a bit later in the year, as it is even more damaging on your panels in the wet season. JJ
  8. Are these pay and play days or some form of competition? JJ
  9. Partner as in missus or business? Were abouts in Germany did you live? How can you go to Liverpool by accident? JJ
  10. Can't believe your coming out with this now. Its been every German Landy owners bed time read since about '97 when they brought it out. Oh my god, this is embarassing for the homecountry of the Landy hahaha Even the Swiss were quicker at aknowledging its excistence...hihihi JJ
  11. £65 for a pattern stub axle?????? Holy ****e... And the rest I shall just ignore Mr. Combo refrigerator...hahaha Be happy that your pattern parts failed on your drive while you wer efitting them. Not two days after fitting them at night in a welsh forrest were your wheelbearing collapses and your wheel goes walkies... JJ
  12. I can highly reccomend L-R supermarket in Liverpool. Ask for J or Neil and 99.9% you will have the right stuff there the next day or even same day if L-R Chester got it in stock. Oh all I ever buy is original as I hate fixing them. Paddocks is just...UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRGH JJ
  13. Serves you right for buying cheap and nasty I would say.hahaha I'm sure there are enough threads everywhere that praise the high quality of allmakes etc... We all learned the hard way hehehe JJ
