  2. Probably a bit late now, but my local supplier can get 12mm wisadeck for £23 a sheet. I just bought 2 sheets to ply line the floor of my transporter. Supplier name is Alpha Timber Solutions just outside Milton Keynes

  4. Very true. I have seen some fantastic fit outs of VW's, but all I can think of is how hard to clean it would be and if I could jet wash the inside or not!

  6. Hi All, As you will see in the "For Sale" section I will soon be selling my 110 to buy a van for the business. Its not been an easy choice for me and I have put if off for as long as possible, but I need to focus on the business this year and a van is going to be a real bonus. I have made some good friends through the Land Rover world and I won't be going away from the scene, I just won't have a Land Rover. Hope to see you all soon. Ben
  7. Pux, My back seats are out but the bracket is still in. There should be 2 bolts to the top of the seat through the 2 holes closest to the camera.
  8. The double cab rear seats do not have any sort of catch. They are attached to the bulkhead via a black painted piece of angle.
  9. Sounds fair. The Amp draw is so small that a carling switch is man enough to hadle the feed from the Aux without any problems. It seems an awful long way to wire from the exisiting relay when there is already a feed so close to the rear door, but I guess its a factory esq way of installing it all!
  10. Without appearing too disparaging. The factory can't make them straight so what makes you think us mere mortals have a chance?
  11. Jason, Are you going to be using the 7.5inch LED lights for this? I ended up getting 2 slightly smaller ones and wireed them in a similar way to your diagram above. The only difference was that because the draw was so small I could do away with the relay on the revering light and feed all the lights from the reverse circuit. The plus side is that when you use the switch the reverse light comes on as well for more light to cook by. The down side is that if you have left it in gear (reverse) the feed powers the ignition circuit and the fuel pump starts to whirr. The easiest place go get at the reverse wire is from the lamp itself then its easy to feed the return to the switch or relay. I can get some pictures of my install if it would help?
  12. Nige, Likely to be either the seals as mentioned or a cracked head. Mine and Jason's were cracked heads. Damage wise, the leak is probably from the turbo pick up, it tends to leak under pressure. Also as I am sure you know the diesel washes the oil off parts like the main bearings. HTH Ben
  13. After posting earlier I realised why. I had left the Rover in reverse gear to test the circuit so when I flicked the switch it was energising the whole circuit.
  14. I finally got round to fitting 2 extra LED lights to the rear of the 110 today and found something a little strange. I wired them so they are switched from the cab and also come on with the reversing light. Both ways work, however when the switch is turned on no only do the new and old reversing lights come on, but so does the fuel pump! Going to need a relay to isolate the circuit so no big drama but strange non the less!
