  1. We fit superpro to all our vehicles, have tried most other brands and seem to be fantastic. We can also get them for reasonable price to.
  2. We use alot o britpart stock aswell as other suppliers. We often find thats is only through experience that we know which is good or bad. Very often its found some parts are just OE land rover reboxed. Like with most things in life it seems you get what you pay for. Think its certainly fair to say that britpart are no worse than any of the others, allmakes, bearmac etc. Normaly somebody elses parts reboxed.
  3. Yes id agree with swivel bearing preloads, very comon and will most likely cure the fault, also worth making sure the steering damper is up to the job
  4. have done several of these, easiest way of doing it is using a Defender 300Tdi R380 box with the bell housing from a V8 300 Series Disco, all you have to do is then carefully, very carefully, grind the end of the shaft to fit the V8 spigot bush, all will fit prefectly then.
  5. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYBODY HAD ANY BRIGHT IDEAS TO HELP ME OUT ON AN 04 PLATE VOGUE. THE PROBLEM IS THE THE VEHICLE WONT START, HAVE HAD ON TEST BOOK AND NO FAULTS FOUND. IF YOU TURN THE KEY IT WILL SPIN OVER BUT WONT START. WAS FINE ONE DAY BUT NOT THE NEXT. HAVE CHECKED ALL FUEL PUMP FUSES, INJECTOR PULSE IS THERE BUT NO FUEL AT THE PLUGS. ITS AS IF THE FUEL CUT OFF SWITCH HAS TRIPPED BUT CANT FIND ONE ANYWHERE. ALL IVE LEFT IS THE FUEL PUMP IF NOT. ANY IDEAS??
  6. id fit the genuine mat, fits first time and looks the part. only problem ive had is that they sometimes split on the edges, especialy on the top arch. if you glued it in place i would think it would be fine though
  7. I have got a couple of these spare. Afraid im not just down the road though. Could drop one in the post though if any help.
  8. I've got several second hand ones if you can wait for one. You don't have to have a demister legaily that i am aware, but you prob will need a good bit of cloth to keep wiping the screen with!!
  9. At the moment have several vehicles im using. Got a 300tdi Hi Cap, P38 4.0l rangie and old t/d 90. The only one i want to use or even really care about is my 1952 80'' which is in several bits!! Got to be done for summer though!!
  10. Hello everyone, new to the forum. Looking forward to seeing what goes on here Terry
  11. Hi, We have done several auto conversions and the shifter is always the hard part. We normally custom make a console using either a cubby box or from scratch. All are time consuming but do look good if done carefully. Here are a few pics to give you an idea
