ell Posted January 6, 2017 Share Posted January 6, 2017 hi all I have a 2000 td5 discovery had some gearbox problems all sorted now had the car running for 30 mins after refitting gearbox, went back to it next day immobiliser is on doesn't recognise key we have tried to enter the code with drivers door lock it only bleeps once after can anybody help I'm I doing something wrong help help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dave88sw Posted January 7, 2017 Share Posted January 7, 2017 Really study the handbook for how to enter the code, you have to be really careful to return the key to the centre after every turn. Otherwise i can only assume you have the wrong code (perhaps its had a bcu change in the past?). When you say not responding to the key, do you mean it won't crank etc or that nothing happens when you press the buttons? If the latter my guess would be the remote receiver in the roof.
