Gear Linkage

Hello Everyone -  I am brand new to this forum - I recently bought an 04 Freelander TD4 that needs a clutch - I am going to use it for popping round locally and towing my vintage tractors to shows

I am in the process of taking the gearbox out - just after a little bit advice about detaching the gear linkage please?

Is it a roll pin that knocks out of the main selector shaft sleeve? Do I also need to take the link pin out with the spiral clip on the bottom where the ball joint linkage attaches?

I have found and removed the hidden bolt on the back side of the engine that I was told about - well hidden!

Regards

Ian D
